Happy Valentine's Day!

After a busy transfer week, (it’s always hard to send home the missionaries we have grown to love so much),

we had a great Saturday before Valentine’s Day at Piazza Navona.

This is my valentine’s gift: an exquisite blown glass goblet from Venice.

At Navona, Carnival was in full swing. We saw a Chinese parade

and dancers,

and of course many more children dressed in costumes, with confetti everywhere.

There is always entertainment at Navona, whether it is paintings to check out

or actual entertainers.

Rome hasn’t seen snow for 25 years, but on Thursday, we had snow in Rome.

Maybe that is why we continue to do puzzles in the evening and on weekends.

These last few weeks have also been a spiritual treat. We have witnessed many baptisms and welcome these new members of the church. Welcome Angelo!

Here is Leon, a member who was recently baptized and now holds the Priesthood, who is worthy to baptize Ernest. Welcome Ernest.

Life is good in the mission field. We heartedly recommend a full-time mission to couples. It will enrich your life as you give service in this way.
